kollygujer was founded in 2020 by Svenja Kolly and Mia Gujer. The two met at the Aargau School of Design (SfGA) and studied visual communication with a focus on graphic design at the Lucerne University of Art and Design (HSLU DFK). Since 2023, they have been co-organizing the Weltformat Graphic Design Festival Lucerne, and in 2025 they took over the festival lead with Michèle Raez. Their practice is driven by a curiosity about what graphic design can be beyond its familiar formats, exploring materiality, objects and the space where design and everyday life meet.

kollygujer is part of an interdisciplinary atelier in Altstetten, Zurich, and works across graphic design and art direction, combining commissioned projects in education, politics, culture and sport with self-initiated work and design research. The studio develops corporate identities, publications, posters, digital and exhibition designs, but also objects, jerseys and other forms that push the discipline to the edge — always looking for the visual approach specific to the question at hand.
